Yes! Your class is automatically entered into the competition. You'll receive detailed information about the read-a-thon in early February.
- Competition period: February 17-28, 2025
- Program access: If you’re participating as a new user of Reading Eggs, you’ll have free access from February 10-March 7, 2025. You’ll receive login credentials with complete setup instructions for your class via email on Monday, February 10.
- Winner announcement: We will announce the winners the week of March 3rd.
We track the average number of books read per active student in each class using Reading Eggs' built-in reporting system.
You'll receive a leaderboard update mid-way through the read-a-thon showing the top 100 classes. Winners and final rankings will be announced the week of March 3rd!
Top 3 classes receive: $300 technology grant for their classroom. All top 10 classes receive: Reading Eggs medals, Reggie keychains, pens, pencils & socks.
